I have made a few tractor and other vehicles now and I’ve always started wiring from the motors, servos and LEDs back to the Arduino and I always have to contend with a mess of wires at the end which are usually in a tight space like under the bonnet where they are hard to solder. I think from now on it may be a better idea to wire the Arduino and run the wires through the model to where they will eventually meet the components like LEDs which are externally mounted.
